Με πυροτεχνήματα και φαντασμαγορικές εκδηλώσεις σ’ όλον τον κόσμο εκατομμύρια άνθρωποι υποδέχθηκαν το 2016που αψήφησαν τις απειλές για τρομοκρατικές επιθέσεις και συγκεντρώθηκαν σε μεγάλους δρόμους και πλατείες για να γιορτάσουν την έλευση του νέου χρόνου. Φέτος για πρώτη φορά η Κόκκινη Πλατεία στην Μόσχα έκλεισε για τους πολίτες λόγω των φόβων για τρομοκρατικές επιθέσεις.
